Howard Miller, CRM, CIC, CyRP is a highly motivated and creative expert as a commercial insurance broker and insurance consultant with over 20 years of experience. Howard Miller is currently VP, Account Executive at Alliant Cyber in Irvine CA where he focused on the design and placement of cyber insurance and technology errors and omissions.

Howard has been a public speaker since 2011 and has been a featured panelist, presenter, and producer of cyber risk conferences where he has been joined by law enforcement, privacy attorney’s, CISO’s and technology experts.

Howard Miller has been an innovator in custom insurance programs. With extensive experience in customizing insurance programs Howard has developed a unique skillset as an intermediary communicating and developing insurance products and solutions working with c-suite/board of directors and insurance underwriting.

Howard continues to support the evolution of risk management with multiple published peer reviewed articles including Springer, Environment Systems and Decisions “Enterprise risk management optimization (ERMO)” 10.1007/s10669-021-09819-x. As a member of the leadership team and co-lead for the risk management framework, Howard has contributed to the publication of SAE G-32 JA7496 Cyber Physical System Security Engineering Standard. This is an innovative international standard influence by NIST system engineering approach work and applicable to cyber security associated with cyber physical systems (e.g. smart-grids, smart cities, aerospace, automotive) where risk includes, software, hardware, firmware across the supply chain.
