Richard Greenberg, CISSP 
Richard Greenberg, a well-known Cyber Security leader, evangelist, advisor, and speaker, brings over 30 years of management experience, including being a CISO for 15 years. He is an ISSA International Distinguished Fellow, is on their Honor Roll, and is president of the ISSA Los Angeles Chapter.

Richard is the Founder and CEO of Security Advisors LLC, which offers security risk assessments and penetration testing, allowing organizations to continuously assess their internal and external cyber risk posture and meet compliance requirements.

 

Michael Sohn (SSA) Supervisory Special Agent

Michael Sohn is currently leading a squad at the FBI Los Angeles Field Division that is responsible for investigating computer and high-technology crimes.  His investigative experience includes cyber terrorism, nation-state and criminal cyber intrusion matters.  Prior to his employment with the FBI, he worked as a Cyber Counterintelligence Officer for the Department of the Army, a Counter Terrorism officer for the Defense Intelligence Agency, a consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton and a U.S. Army Officer.  Mr. Sohn received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the United States Military Academy, West Point and a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems from Boston University.

 

 

Bruce Phillips, CISSP  

Bruce Phillips is senior vice president and Chief Information Security Officer for WEST, a Williston Financial Group company, which creates industry-leading technology to streamline and fully integrate the real estate process. He is responsible for the company’s information security practice, as well as its litigation and forensic support services. Bruce has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services, insurance, title and escrow, real estate, healthcare and defense industries. His key areas of expertise include data protection, risk management, cybersecurity and technology. Bruce provides knowledgeable assistance to lenders, real estate agents, and title and escrow companies recovering from a data breach, and offers guidance on regulatory compliance, strategic planning and processes and procedures. He also advises lenders, real estate agents, and title and escrow companies on how to avoid phishing scams as well as what steps to take if they have already been a victim of a scam.  Bruce is a sought-out speaker on information security, data protection, risk management and litigation support. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and is a member of the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) ®.

 

Serafino Sini, CISSP

Serafino Sini is a Senior Enterprise Security Consultant with more than 20 years experience spanning many IT domains. Proven track record of leadership, with client and resource engagements, and extensive management and administration of information security tools. Specialized in the development of risk assessments and compliance methodologies for large multinational organizations.  During his downtime he likes restoring older Italian automobiles, specifically Alfa Romeo’s from the 70’s, which provide a great understanding of minimalism, purpose and design.  He shares his belief that today’s information security industry is clouded by excessive noise and FUD, and sometimes reverting back to the basics provides a solid foundation on which to build a strong information security program.

 

Mark Smith

Mark Smith is the Director of Information Technology at a leading national law firm. He handles all aspects of technology including cyber security, disaster recovery and business continuity.  He has over 25 years leading IT and cyber security teams in professional services firms; high profile entertainment accounting, financial services and legal verticals. Mark has built the security practices in these organizations with revenues exceeding 150M/yr.; selecting security standards, tools and developing the policies to govern these organizations. He has championed cloud-first strategies and has overseen the implementation of AI/ML tools to improve network visibility and threat detection.   Mark leads an independent consulting firm Secure CIO Solutions. He has provided cyber security, compliance and incident response services for leading retail and professional services firms.  He was awarded the distinction of Los Angeles Business Journal CIO of the Year (2014). 100-500 Employees. Mark is a board member and current Program Director of Information Systems Security Association – Los Angeles Chapter.
