While most privacy professionals have some exposure to the NIST Privacy Framework they have limited exposure to the Capability Maturity Model Integration.  CMMI has was developed at Carnegie Melon in 1987 by Dr. Watts Humprey for the US Airforce.  It is now a dominant standard for project maturity.  We will show how CMMI should and can be used to enhance the NIST Privacy Framework to create a “quantifiably measurable and actionable assessment”.
