Moderator: Richard Greenberg

Richard Greenberg, CISSP is a well-known Cyber Security Leader and Evangelist, CISO, Advisor, and speaker.

Richard brings over 40 years of management experience and has been a strategic and thought leader in IT and Information Security. Richard has been a CISO for over 20 years, Director of Surveillance and Information Systems, Chief of Security Operations, Director of IT, and Project Manager for various companies and agencies in the private and public sectors.

Richard is the Founder and CISO of Security Advisors LLC, which offers fully-managed security assessments and network and software penetration testing services that allows organizations to continuously assess their internal and external cyber risk posture, and helps companies with compliance issues.

Richard has been inducted into the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) Hall of Fame, is a Distinguished Fellow and has received their Honor Roll designation. He has also been selected as a finalist for both the (ISC)2 Americas Information Security Leadership Award in the Senior Information Security Professional category and the Los Angeles Business Journal CIO of the Year in Security.

Richard also is President of ISSA LA and is Chair of their widely recognized annual Security Summit and CISO Forum. Richard has served on the OWASP Global Board of Directors, led the OWASP LA Chapter, and has been Co-Chair of the highly successful AppSec California conferences.

Richard is dedicated to diversity in our field. He started and chairs the annual Women in Security Forum, and supports creating a more open and welcome community for all. Richard’s reach in the Southern California region is extensive. He has worked diligently to bring together the various Southern California IT and InfoSec organizations to enhance their collaboration efforts, to help reach new IT and InfoSec professionals.

Richard is a published author and has spoken worldwide on Information Security, individually and on panels.

Panelist One: Nicole Holmes

Nicole Holmes is Scopely’s SVP of Enterprise Technology and CISO. She has worked in the field of technology for over eighteen years. She has a Master’s Degree in Information Technology from the Florida Institute of Technology.

She has worked in various industries, including gaming, entertainment, consumer goods, decorative coatings, and financial and food services.

Panelist Two: Nikolay Chernavsky

Nikolay Chernavsky is CISO at ISSquared Inc., a provider of Cybersecurity, Cloud, Infrastructure, Consulting and Digital Transformation services.

Prior to joining ISSQUARED Inc., Mr. Chernavsky held numerous executive and senior leadership roles in Cybersecurity and IT at PennyMac, Amgen and National Oilwell Varco.

Nikolay has played an active role in the Cybersecurity community by serving on the H-ISAC Board of Directors, forming and leading the Mortgage Risk Council for FS-ISAC and co-chairing Southern California Evanta “CISOs for CISOs” .

Nikolay holds a MS degree in Computer Information Systems from Boston University and CISSP and CISM certifications.

Panelist Three: Steven Weil

Steven Weil has been a security engineer, security architect, auditor, senior security consultant and CISO. He has assessed, designed and built cybersecurity programs for a wide variety of organizations. He has also designed and implemented pragmatic compliance programs for regulations such as SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, PCI DSS and CMMC.

Mr. Weil has expertise in creating security policies & standards, performing risk assessments, assessing and managing compliance and developing cybersecurity solutions for small and large organizations.

Mr. Weil has a Master’s degree in Information Science and numerous certifications including CISSP, CISA, CISM and CCSK.
